The motive of SVIM is to promote and provide professional education to youth so that they can stand on their own
feet with full confidence. In present era, man cannot survive without proper professional education. Therefore, a
group of volunteers (inspired by Swami Vivekanand Ji) have accepted this challenge to develop potentials, skills and
talents of students from poor background.
This Institution has been started by Divya Prem Sewa Mission which is working for lepers and their children. This
institute has been affiliated to Uttrakhand Open University (UGC Approved University)
The Swami Vivekanand Institute of Management has been established and promoted by DPSM Trust with the sole objective to provide superior quality, need based industry-focused management education at an affordable cost. The promoters are driven by a Vision to create professionals, who have a passion to lead in the global setup.
The mission of the Trust is twofold-firstly, to develop leaders capable of taking business decisions in a complex global environment, and secondly, of providing high quality, relevant, career oriented, industry focused management education at an affordable cost

Admission procedure
The students who have qualified graduation level examination in any stream recognized by U.G.C or Ministry of HRD & Education or Technical Boards of various state Governments or AICTE are eligible for admission provided. They should have cleared MAT, CAT, XAT, JMET, ATMA, CET and state conducted JEEs.
Else they have to appear for entrance test of UOU
